ACCESSIBILITY POLICY

Notice under The Americans with Disabilities Act

In accordance with ON85th requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, ON85th will not discriminate against individuals with disabilities on the basis of disabilities in services, programs, or activities. ON85th can assist with the following:

Communication – Upon request, ON85th will provide resources leading to effective communication for qualified persons with disabilities so that all can participate equally in ON85th programs, services and activities, including qualified sign language interpreters, documents in Braille, large print and other ways of making information available to persons with speech, hearing or vision impairments. People who need assistance with communication should make their need(s) known to ON85th. Please allow adequate time for ON85th to make accommodations for the request. Note: ON85th does not provide devices for personal use, only to access services, activities, and programs offered by ON85th 

Program Modifications – The City will make reasonable modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all City services, activities and programs. For example, individuals with service animals are welcome to ON85th events where pets are generally prohibited. If someone is planning to attend an event and requires special seating arrangements or other devices, ON85th should be notify ON85th for event space in advance.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication to participate in an ON85th program, service or activity should contact ON85th Office of ADA Compliance as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event. Note: ON85th is not required to make modifications to programs or activities that would fundamentally alter the ON85th nature of ON85th program or services or impose an undue financial or administrative burden.

ON85th will not place a surcharge on a particular individual with a disability or any group of individuals with disabilities to cover ON85th cost of providing auxiliary aids/services or reasonable modifications of policy, such as retrieving items from locations that are open to the public but are not accessible to persons who use wheelchairs.

Volunteers –ON85th is an Equal Opportunity provider and does not discriminate on the basis of disability in volunteers' practices and complies with all regulations promulgated by ADA. All applications for employment may be accessed through ON85th Board.

Accommodations – An individual can also request accommodations to access ON85th websites and events for access.
