No.85 is a community-led platform with a mission of supporting the emotional & mental wellbeing of stray, injured, abused, animals through curated events, educational content & access to resources.
We are restructuring our organization & looking for someone to help us during a period of growth.
We are looking for a competent Community & Events Coordinator / Manager to oversee and organize events that will make an impact on mothers & families in the Triangle.
We are seeking an all-rounder who is not only organized & excels at event marketing but will also contribute to content creation & cultivating our communities online (socials) & offline (in person).
Beyond working with vendors, if you are also confident in acquiring sponsors & partners for our events that is a huge plus!

RESPONSIBILTIES

Be the local point of support to Event managers and stakeholder with regards to the Events tools and platform portfolio

Events management: 1 year (Preferred)

US work authorization (Preferred)

Implement, drive and maintain new event tools within your region
-
Work closely with the subject matter experts for each tool for ideal deployment throughout your region
-
Maintain and deploy a portfolio of tools such as registration site, webinar platform, CMS, event apps, and other areas as needed in collaboration with the event managers

Build, maintain and train staff on the portfolio of tools and platforms

Assist with projects to improve event performance as needed

Act as the events operations interface, supporting the new tools and infrastructure that will help the markets and business’s structure to promote their event, acquire and register customers, track attendance and measure ROI

Monitor functional email accounts and distribute emails to the appropriate team members

Maintain documentation and processes
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
You:

Highly organized with strong administrative background

Interest in events with experience in running events and tradeshows.

Multitasking activities and fast learning.

Good verbal and written communications skills

Self-starter, organizational talent, creativity and project management skills are a must-have

Team player

Be competent: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Basic understanding of html

Fluent English speaker, Spanish/ Portuguese knowledge a bonus
