Our Mission
At RESCUES ON85TH, we are committed to strengthening communities by ensuring that families—both human and their Furry Family Members (FAMs)—have access to essential resources during times of need. Our mission is to provide compassionate, comprehensive support that bridges the gap between hardship and hope.

We focus on assisting low-income households, elderly residents, and individuals facing temporary financial challenges or homelessness. Our goal is to prevent family separations, alleviate hardship, and promote stability for every member of the family unit.

Nutritious Food and Essential Supplies for FAMs: Supporting the health and stability of families and their beloved companions.

Affordable Spay and Neuter Services: Partnering with local clinics to encourage responsible FAM care.

Delivery Services: Providing essential supplies directly to elderly, disabled, or injured individuals.

Emergency Assistance and Crisis Support: Offering temporary resources during financial or personal hardships.

Our Story
RESCUES ON85TH was born from a simple yet powerful belief: families in crisis deserve support that includes their FAMs. Inspired by Kurt Russell’s journey from stray to cherished family member, our nonprofit was founded to preserve and strengthen the bond between people and their furry loved ones, especially during challenging times.

Our work has grown beyond pet food assistance into a comprehensive network of services designed to support entire families—human and FAMs alike—ensuring that no family is left behind.
